Travelling in Taichung - Nantou (part 2)

...continue from part 1...

The next day, we went to Sanyi wood sculpture museum. Unfortunately, we cannot take picture inside the museum so that I cannot show you the very amazing sculptures here. I think that is worth to spend about 2 hours observing the things here. Shelly's explained a lot of things relating to Taiwanese culture for us. It was interesting and in general, I can see that there are so many similarities of Taiwanese and Vietnamese culture.
This is the full address of the museum: No.88, Guangsheng Shincheng, Sanyi Township, Miaoli County 36744, Taiwan (R.O.C.)

The front gate of the museum.

After 2 hours vistiting the museum. We had an appointment with other Taiwanese family. That family is Shelly family's friends and they also host an intern from Europe going to Taiwan for an AIESEC's project.

Here the children and the moms took picture together.

After that, two families go to have lunch togerther. I think that was the very great experience because usually in Vietnam, if we like to have lunch or dinner at home. Eventhough we go out, we usually order the seperate food. It was nice to sitting together on the circular table and have so many foods.

 Here is the restaurant.

 Two families enjoyed the meal.

The mom was taking care the children.

After the luch is the most meaningful part. It was drinking tea on the high mountain. My country drink a lots tea also but we never go out to drink and chit chat together. It was great!

 Climbing the mointain!

 Sharing some stories together.

 Taking photos together.

The friends from Europe was curious about many things here.

The young people began to feel tired...

...but the dad and mom say "Kuai tien! kuai tien!" means hurry up!

The tea farm on the mountain.
The worker picking the tea leaves.

We were curious about the work here.

 Drinking tea and eating cake.

Olga asked many things about Taiwanese culture.

And here are the big family!

And the view of the farm was very attractive!

Say good bye to the farm. We continue going to the sea. I dont remember the name of this sea but there were so many many people go here enjoying the atmosphere here.

Here we came to the seaside.
We met Shelly's aunt and her children.

They are so cute. We played together.

 Whole family picture.

 And good bye the beach.

Finishing two days in Taichung, Nantou and Miaoli. I feel really comfortable for the summer vacation. It was relaxing and I leant a lot of new things and know more friends. Thank Shelly's family very much, they were really kind. One more time. Xie xie ni men!
