Travelling in Taichung - Nantou (part 1)

 Travelling in Taichung - Nantou

Just finishing roamed arounf Taipei on 28th July, I and my friends: Flora and Olga immediately went travelling in Taichung on the next day. We stayed in Shelly house in Taichung. Shelly is an AIESECer girl and she is very nice and kind. We went to Taipei bus station and then buy a ticket of Kuo-kuang bus to Taichung. It costed us 200NTD and took 3 hours to go.
And here are our extremely interesting trip.

 Good morning Taichung!

It was a very fresh morning in Taichung and we noticed that Shelly's father designed a special tour to introduce the culture and beautiful scenery of Taiwan for 3 of us. We ate the breakfast prepared by Shelly's mom and then we got ready for the trip!

We went with one Shelly's friend and we talk a lots on the car.

First, we went to the Black tea farm. In Vietnam, we just drink Green tea and other kind of tea but not Black tea. Eventhough I've drunk black tea before but I was still eager to see the farm and try some black tea of Taiwan.
Here I came to Sun Moon Black tea farm (Ri yue hong cha)

This is the farm here!
There is a small museum explaining the process of making black tea. Shelly's father explained a lots for us and we can also observe many equipment for making tea. although Vietnam have many tea farm but I have never been before. This was a good experience and when I come back Vietnam, I will visit our country's tea farm also.

Here we took a group photo: Olga - Flora - I - Shelly and Shelly's friend.

After that we went to Sun Moon lake. Sun Moon lake. It is the largest body of water in Taiwan as well as a tourist attraction. Situated in Yuchi, Nantou, the area around the Sun Moon Lake is home to the Thao tribe, one of aboriginal tribes in Taiwan. Sun Moon Lake surrounds a tiny island called Lalu. The east side of the lake resembles a sun while the west side resembles a moon, hence the name.

We came to Sun Moon lake.

And posting!

 And posting more!

 We went to the lakeside.

And enjoyed the fresh air here.

Five stars...!

 ...shined on the lake side!

Ri yue dan - Sun Moon lake.

Then Shelly's father treated us a great lunch.

In the afternoon, we went to the Wen wu temple lied on the lake side also.

Wen wu temple.

We also prayed for happiness here.

After visiting the temple. We dicided to take a yatch around the lake to see more the scene here.

 It was a nice experience!

Olga and Flora enjoyed the trip on the yatch.

And we finish a very long day discovering the Taiwanese culture. We heard many story about Taiwan, we discussed about the similarities and differences  between our culture. We experienced a really fun trip. And actually, I feel that Taiwanese are very friendly. Thank Shelly's father, he treated us very well. Finish one day in Nantou, we really satisfied. The next day, we travelled to other places. and that was much greater!
